Ezzie was born and raised in Gridania. She spent her childhood wandering the Shroud catching frogs and picking flowers. Over time, she learned to play the harp, cook exquisite foods, and barter for items. Bartering was her favorite thing. She could start with a small rock and end the day with a bottle of Lominsan porter.One day while bartering in Ala Mhigo, she saw a shirtless man with white hair who captured her attention. They met eyes momentarily and with complete disregard to the spar happening, walked right up to him to introduce herself. In that moment, his gaze had moved from her to the young man, who was about to sweep his leg right into her! The man with the white hair moved her out of the way with the quickness that only a monk could have and stopped her from getting hit. Within months, the two of them were married in the Shroud. Xavier and Ezzie have been inseparable since. Together, they own and operate The Dueling Otters.Ezzie spends the majority of her time out in Eorzea bartering for goods to serve at The Otters, gathering herbs and crops from various locations and finding the most interesting housing decorations to use.
